I believe meaningful growth happens when we feel truly seen, supported, and understood. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative — meeting you where you are while helping you take clear, intentional steps toward where you want to be.
At WayForward Counseling & Consulting, I work with teens, young adults, and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of their next steps. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and emotional overwhelm. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand your story, and begin finding practical ways forward.
Using a gentle yet practical approach, I draw from evidence-based practices including CBT, ACT, nervous system education, emotional regulation, self-compassion, values-based work, and Brainspotting. For clients who are interested, Brainspotting can offer a deeper, body-based way to process stress, trauma, and emotional pain that may feel difficult to access through talk therapy alone.
Together, we work to uncover patterns, build self-trust, develop effective coping tools, and move through overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, and pressure — without having to push harder, pretend everything is fine, or figure it all out alone.
I provide a supportive space for teens developing identity, emotional awareness, and coping skills; young adults adjusting to independence, relationships, and change; and adults seeking clarity, balance, or renewed direction in their personal or professional lives.
Wherever you are on your journey, therapy is a space to feel supported, reflect with honesty and compassion, and take meaningful steps toward feeling more grounded, confident, connected, and capable in your daily life.
